Usually only one or two regions will be scanned at the request of your doctor. The scan will show the individual organs, joints and soft tissue together with any damage caused by injury or disease. The CT Scan suite has two state-of-the-art slice volume scanners. They are both equipped with ASiR dose-reduction technology. The scanners are also equipped with technology that allows us to use the scanners in interventional cases such as biopsies, drainages and radiofrequency ablation RFA. Re-training for Registered Centres Introduction Centres undertaking re-training can either attend one of the face-to-face training days through HPS, or can opt to undertake the training programme accessible via the HPS website. Most centres choose the training programme via the website for re-training as it is free of charge and can be accessed and completed at a convenient time. It is a comprehensive programme which covers the main aspects of yellow fever relevant to YFVCs.

An Early Pregnancy Scan sometimes also called a Viability Scan or Dating Scan provides reassurance in this very early stage of your pregnancy. A pregnancy can be seen from as early as 6 weeks from the first day of your last period LMP and not the date of conception.
If you have had any bleeding or pain or any other symptoms then this scan will accurately confirm viability. Sometimes it is requested by a doctor or midwife to confirm that your pregnancy is healthy in this case your scan is often called a viability scan and to calculate the date when your baby is due usually referred to as a dating scan. It can also be performed to confirm the results of a pregnancy test or just to provide you with some reassurance that all is progressing as it should be.

The Department of Health and Social Care insisted the waste is not infectious or a risk to the public.
